It's #NationalSmoresDay, so of course we had to share an easy + totally vegan take on this popular treat! Who doesn't love s'mores! No one, that is. And don't worry there are vegan marshmallows on the market. Check out the easy recipe below to make some ooey gooey s'mores at home without the campfire!
vegan chocolate bar (broken into small squares)
Pre-heat oven to broil on high.
On a baking sheet lay out as many graham crackers as you like, both the tops and bottoms of the s'mores and place 2 marshmallows on half the crackers. Bake in the oven for approx. 4-5 mins watching closely until the marshmallows are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and take the toasted top crackers off the baking sheet and set aside.
Place 2 squares of chocolate on the marshmallows, gentle pressing into them. Bake again for another 1-2 mins so the chocolate gets soft.
Remove from the oven and assemble with the top crackers. Get some napkins because they're gonna be messy!
